Each year the Garden Club awards a scholarship to students pursuing tertiary education in agriculture, horticulture, the environment and related disciplines. This scholarship is designed to support Bermudians who are interested in these fields, as their expertise is vital to ensuring sustainability within the community.

Wedding season has begun and our Floral Friends ar

Wedding season has begun and our Floral Friends are back at it. Gorgeous repurposed wedding flowers courtesy of @helensawdenflowers delivered to seniors homes across the island. This week’s recipients were Lorraine Home and Serenity Gardens.

For our January workshop, Christina Wilson gave us

For our January workshop, Christina Wilson gave us an interactive demonstration of her exquisite paper floral art. We all helped make paper petals to put a rose together, including the leaves. It was fascinating to watch her transform bits of paper into a beautiful rose. All twenty participants thoroughly enjoyed the morning."

At our February meeting the craft class was tasked

At our February meeting the craft class was tasked with creating a necklace using dried or fresh plant material. Our participants blew the judges away with their incredible creations. Sheila Semos was 1st with her gorgeous aqua jeweled necklace with Andrea McKey(Pink & Gold),Judith Davidson(Rose)
& Jane Maycock(fresh flowers) all tied for 2nd place. Congratulations to these talented ladies!
