Floral art workshops meet at 10am on the Saturday prior to general meetings.

Floral art exhibits to be staged on the day before each general meeting from 12noon to 4.00 pm. Judging starts at 4.15pm.

Bermuda Judges Exam 2020, sanctioned by NAFAS.

Congratulations to Anna Fulton, Karin Smith and Sylvia Outerbridge who all passed the final section of this 3 year course.  The Garden Club also currently has five international judges, Debbie Burville, Susan Conyers, Deanna Moss,  Cindy Young and Liz Parker.  Pictured below from left to right, are the creations of Anna Fulton (Before The Storm), Karen Smith (Shelter In Place) and Sylvia Outerbridge (Out of Africa).

Definitions

Minature

Not more than 5% in height, width or depth. This measurement does not apply to the diagonal dimension. Staged in a framed opening 5 1/2″ deep, 56″ from the floor. Space may be altered.

Petite

More than 4″, less than 9″ in height, width and depth. The measurement does not apply to the diagonal dimension. Staged on a table 39″ high from the floor.

Small

Not more than 15″ in height, width and depth. This measurement does not apply to the diagonal dimension. Staged on a table 39″ high from the floor.

Niche

26″ wide at the back, tapering to 30″ in the front x 25″ deep and 36″ high. Placed on a shelf 39″ high from the floor, painted pale green.

Shelf

30″ wide x 30″ deep, 39″ high from the floor.

Table space

32″ wide x 30″ deep, 30″ high from the floor.

Table

Round cylinder base 30″ high. Refer to the Floral Arts Schedule for top size.

Floor

36″ x 36″ deep floor space. No height limit.

Small pedestal

9-3/4″ wide x 9-3/4″ deep (top) x 11-3/4″ high overall, painted pale grey. Refer to the Floral Arts Schedule for staging placement.

Large pedestal

15″ wide x 15″ deep (top) x 36″ high overall, painted light beige.
