Floral art workshops meet at 10am on the Saturday prior to general meetings.
Floral art exhibits to be staged on the day before each general meeting from 12noon to 4.00 pm. Judging starts at 4.15pm.

Congratulations to Anna Fulton, Karin Smith and Sylvia Outerbridge who all passed the final section of this 3 year course. The Garden Club also currently has six international judges, Debbie Burville, Susan Conyers, Deanna Moss, Cindy Young, Liz Parker and Judith Davidson. Definitions
Minature
Design to be no more than 5” in height, width and depth. To be staged in a box with a framed opening 5 ½” high x 5 ¼” wide, box depth 5 ½”, staged 59” from the floor. Interior space of the box may be lined or altered but no permanent alterations may be made and the box must be returned to its original state.
Petite
More than 4”, less than 9” in height, width and depth. Staged on a table 39” from the floor.
Small
Not more than 15” in height, width and depth. Staged on a table 30” or shelf 39” high from the floor.
Niche
36” high x 24” wide at the back, placed 15” from the back wall – angle of the sides at the front may be placed to a maximum of 34” wide. Staged on the shelf 39” high from the floor.
Shelf
30” wide x 30” deep, 39” from the floor. No height limit.
Table space
32” wide x 30” deep, 30” from the floor. No height limit.
Table
Round plastic base 30” high with 29” round top with plastic slats. No height limit. Table may be covered by the exhibitor.
Floor
36” wide x 36” deep floor space. No height limit. Design MUST begin or end at the floor.
Small pedestal
Top is 9 ¾” wide x 9 ¾” deep x 11 ¾” overall height, painted pale grey.
Large pedestal
Top is 15” wide x 15” deep x 36” overall height, painted light beige. Pedestal to stand in a 36” x 36” floor space. Plant material must not exceed beyond the floor space allowed. No height limit.
Picture Frame
Inside measurement: 24” high x 20” wide placed 20” from the back wall or 20” high x 24” wide placed 20” from the back wall. Placed on a shelf 39” high from the floor. Plant material may not exceed the inside measurement of the frame or touch the sides but may extend forward through the opening to create a 3D effect.
Unless otherwise stated, all exhibits will be judged and viewed from the front.
